Leslie Bibb is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in such films as 2006's "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" and the "Iron Man" series, as well as TV shows such as "Popular" and "GCB."
Most know actress Leslie Bibb as just that: an actress. But in actuality, the stunning blonde got her start in modeling, and at the age of only sixteen at that. Born Leslie Louise Bibb, she hails from Bismarck, North Dakota, but shortly thereafter moved to Richmond, Virginia after her father passed away when she was just three years old. The youngest of four sisters, Leslie attended an all-girls school called Saint Gertrude High. Her dreams of becoming a model soon came to fruition after entering an Elite Modeling Agency competition in 1990 on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." After winning, she was signed to a modeling contract which took her all around the world for the summer. She then came back to finish high school in 1991.
As most models tend to do, Leslie got a hankering for it and after attending only a semester at the University of Virginia, she moved to New York to pursue her dream full time. Before long, she was stunning men everywhere in the pages of such popular magazines as Maxim and FHM. But a thirst for stardom can never fully be quenched, and so to go along with her lucrative modeling career, Leslie decided to also take up acting, studying the craft for three years at the William Esper acting studio.
From here, all the pieces began to fall into place for Leslie, and soon enough she was making guest spots on series such as "Pacific Blue" and "Home Improvement" before landing her first role in a feature film, which just so happened to be Howard Stern's "Private Parts" in 1997. She only continued to gain notoriety for her roles in TV shows such as "The Big Easy" and "Popular" before her career really began to blow up. Soon she was starring in such blockbuster films as 2006's "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" and the first two films in the massively successful "Iron man" movie series. This is all only truly scratching the surface, as her resume continues to expand on both the big and small screen.
