Kira Miro is a Spanish actress. She is known best for playing Sofia on "Desesperado club social," as well as starring in films such as "El Crimen Perfecto (The Perfect Crime)" and "Broken Embraces."
Kira Garcia-Beltran Miro was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain on March 13, 1980. A prominently Spanish actress, much of her work in television and film has been done there, leaving her a relative stranger to us in the U.S. While getting her start in television playing Sofia on the series "Desesperado club social" from 1999 to 2002, she also was able to land film roles in both "Less is More" and "This Was Solitude" around the same period. Since then, her resume in both areas has increased significantly.
By 2004, Kira starred in the film "El Crimen Perfecto (The Perfect Crime)," a role that garnered her much praise. From here, she continued to star in films such as "Manhattan Pictures" and "Broken Embraces." She even took home a "Best Actress" award at the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival in 2006 for her role in "Cuba libre." However, television would proved to be the actress' true niche, as she has gone on to star on numerous series such as "Gominolas," "Lex," "Punta Escarlata," and "Fenomenos."
Of course, Kira's career as an actress is pretty evenly matched by her career as a TV personality. She has appeared on numerous series as herself or in a hosting capacity, including "Cuatrosfera," "Caiga quien caiga," and "Pasapalabra."
In 2007, Kira began a long-term relationship with Daniel Carbonell Barcelona, otherwise known as Spanish musician Macaco.
