Kim Matula is an American television and film actress. She is most famous for playing the role of Hope Logan on the long-running CBS soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful."
Kim Matula was born on August 23, 1988 in Fort Worth, Texas. A child with big dreams, she was already acting by the time she was only 12 years old. After only three years of this, she decided she'd not been famous for long enough and decided to send her headshots around to various agents, landing one almost immediately. Not long after high school ended, she decided to enroll in film courses at the University of Texas at Arlington. By 2008, however, her workload as a professional actress on both the Lifetime movie "Queen Sized" and her recurring role on the series "Pink" forced her to not only quit school, but move to Los Angeles, too.

In 2010, Kim recieved the best news a young aspiring actress could get when she was cast as Hope Logan on "The Bold and the Beautiful." Of course, while this would already be enough to get someone very excited, she also landed the role of Gail on the show "Exposed" the very same year. Unfortunately, she only wound up playing that role for seven episodes. Luckily, "TBATB" wound up a long term gig and went on until she decided to leave the show at the end of 2014. Dring her time on the soap opera, she was even nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.
Kim, like anyone with a job, really enjoys her free time. In doing so, she likes to shower much love on her three cats: Buffy, Lebowski and Yzma. If you couldn't tell by those names, she is heavily influenced in her life by the TV shows and movies she watches, with some of her favorite films belonging to famed director Tim Burton. Kim also very much enjoys reading and painting, and tries to do both as frequently as possible.
