Originally from Sweden, Katia Winter is now an American film and TV actress living in New York City with big acting gigs like "Dexter" and "Sleepy Hollow" already under her belt.
She was born in Stockholm, Sweden but quickly moved to London at an early age. From there, Katia launched her acting career, apeparing in British film and television, beginning with films "Stockholm Boogie" and "Storm," along with the TV series "Dubplate Drama."
Immediately following her move to America, she picked up the female lead in "Arena," a 2011 film, across from Samuel L. Jackson. Soon after, she picked up another lead in the 2012 film "Love Sick Love," just before landing a breakthrough guest role on "Dexter" as Nadia, a Ukranian stripper for a Miami Beach night club.
In 2013, she landed a recurring role as Katrina Crane, a supporting character to Tom Mison's Ichabad Crane on Fox's new TV series "Sleepy Hollow." In addition, Katia filmed three movies in 2014, including "Knight of Cups" with costars Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett.
