Kacey Louisa Barnfield was born in Hackney, London, England on January 14, 1988. Although her career started out in television, she has made enormous strides over the years to make her way into feature films, and has since starred in more films than series.
Starting out her career as an actress in 1997 when she was just 9 years old, Kacey primarily starred in advertisements and plays. It wasn't until 2001 that she began playing Maddie Gilks on "Grange Hill," a series that was at the time one of the longest-running programs on BBC1. During her tenure on the series, she was also cast on the TV miniseries "Dreamteam" in the role of Leanne. From there, she went on to play dual roles on the series "The Bill," playing a character named Chloe Fox in 2004, then later being cast as Kelly Burgess in 2007.
While her career focused primarily on television from 2001 to 2007, by 2010 Kacey began taking enormous strides to becoming a feature film actress. One particular stride involved being cast as a major character in the 2010 video game adaptation film "Resident Evil: Afterlife." The very same year, she also starred in the TV movie "Lake Placid 3." Since then, she's continued to expand her ever growing feature film resume, starring in two more TV movies in 2011 and a short film titled "Flim: The Making of..." which she wrote as well. By 2013, Kacey really began hitting her stride as a feature actress, starring in films such as "I Spit on Your Grave 2" and "Green Street 3: Never Back Down."
