Justine Ezarik is an American Internet celebrity, actress and host. She is best known as iJustine, a “lifecaster,” who communicates directly to her fans on ijustine.tv.
On her Twitter, Justine Ezarik wrote “I play video games and make vids on YouTube.” She is so popular that her YouTube videos have received more than 360 million views. She is also ranked among the top 1000 users in the world with over 1.4 Twitter followers.
Aside from her Internet endeavors, she has also appeared on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Criminal Minds,” “The Bold & Beautiful” and “The Vampire Diaries.”
Justine Ezarik grew up the daughter of a coal miner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After she graduated from high school, she attended Pittsburgh Technical Institute and landed gigs in graphic design and video editing before starting her own business. In 2006, she was one of the top five finalists’ for a Yahoo! Sponsored competition for best online videos.
But it was her “300-page iPhone bill” video that went viral and made her popular.

Justine Ezarik herself views iJustine as a character. Therefore, she doesn’t drink or curse on any of her videos. She has since worked for Mozy, MTV and Dick Clark Productions to host online preshows. Thanks to her videos alone, she makes about $75,000 annually. (And she records her videos with an iPhone or Cannon and then edits on Final Cut Pro.)
Justine Ezarik added, “I’m kind of a very shy quiet person that I tend to do the opposite in my videos because I mean I would much rather stay at home and not do anything, so in my videos I’m like crazy!”
Justine said she was inspired to make videos because “you can basically do whatever you want. You can make anything and the best part is that you learn to do it. I just really loved expressing myself through video and make people laugh.” Her videos span spoofs, answering user-submitted questions, covering tech gadgets and meetings with celebrities.

Her advice is to put out ideas as soon as possible while they are still fresh, or else they’ll be forgotten; and to be bold because it will take you places that regular actions won’t.
