Judy Greer said of the TV pilot process, “I always say I’m not going to care this time, but I always do…I always get disappointed [when shows don’t get picked up], but then you get over it. Ever forward.” She added about TV, “I like working in television because it’s an evolving story that you tell. That’s also one of the things I don’t like about it, too.”

She said of “Arrested Development,” “It’s awesome, first of all, because I get a lot of credit for doing very little work. And I get a lot of people screaming at me on the street and flashing me, and that’s always fun…those are my favorite fans.”

Regarding “Archer,” when she got the pilot script, Judy Greer said, “I read the script before I went in and it was so dirty, I was like ‘This is never going to make it on the air, but I’ll make a couple of bucks for the day.’ I loved it, but I always feel like whenever I love something, it never makes it on television, which is probably why all my pilots have failed until now.”

As to voice acting, “you actually need double the energy. I find myself acting out the scenes and being very physical while I’m recording because I think you can tell when someone is just sitting on a stool.”

Judy Greer would love to star in a romantic comedy. “It would be fun to not to have interviews where they’re like ‘how come you’re always the best friend, don’t you want to be a movie star?’”

Aside from acting, she is an avid knitter.

She is married to Dean E. Johnsen, an executive producer on “Real Time with Bill Maher.” They live in Los Angeles, California.
