Born in Perth, Western Australia, Jessica Elise De Gouw came into the world on February 15, 1988. She grew up in Lesmurdie, an eastern suburb of Perth, while attending Lesmurdie Senior High School. From here, she went on to Curtin University where she split time between her studies and starring on the TV series "The Sleepover Club" as well as the short film "Bedtime Stories." By 2010, she had graduated Curtin with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Cultural Studies - Performance Studies. The very same year, she starred in her second short film "The Ballad of Nick Chopper," as well.

To kick her acting career into high gear, Jessica soon moved to Sydney, where she was able to land numerous guest roles on series such as "The Underbelly," "Crownies," and "Tricky Business" before being cast in her first film role as a maid named Isabella in 2012's "Kath & Kimdrella." But it was the year 2013 that proved to be the turning point in Jessica's career, as she not only played a lead role in the film "These Final Hours," but also starred on the NBC series "Dracula." At the same time, she was also double-dipping so to speak by playing The Huntress on The CW series "Arrow."

Her massive television success has gone on to land Jessica even more film roles. By 2015, she was starring in both "Cut Snake" and "Generation Z." All the while, she managed to book a part in the mini-series "Deadline Gallipoli" on top of that, proving once and for all that her career hasn't even begun to peak.
