Erinn Hayes is an American television and film actress. She is known for her role as Dr. Lola Spratt on Adult Swim's "Childrens Hospital," as well as on several short-lived series such as "The Winner," "Worst Week," and "Guys with Kids."
Erinn Hayes was born Erinn Carter, which she used until 2005 on all her acting credits before making the switch to Hayes permanently. Not that the name change is the only reason for her sudden popularity since then, but prior to it, she had mostly appeared in guest roles on TV series "The West Wing," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and "Will & Grace."
Although her career has certainly picked up since 2005, she still hasn't had the best luck when it comes to landing a role on a television series that has lasted very long. Well, other than that of Dr. Lola Spratt on the short-form Adult Swim series "Childrens Hospital," that is. Otherwise, you can barely count on one hand the series she has starred in that haven't haven't made it past the first season mark. Those series include "Kitchen Confidential," "The Winner," "Worst Week," and "Guys with Kids."
All this is not to say that the lovely and talented Erinn Hayes isn't good at what she does. She has just been a bit less fortunate than others when it comes to landing steady gigs on television series that last. The plus side of that, it that it has certainly opened her up for guest roles on many successful series, with ones like "Two and a Half Men," "Parks and Recreation," "Workaholics," and "New Girl" helping fill that very long list. And that doesn't even include her more dramatic roles.
