Emma Heming is an English model and actress. She has appeared on the covers of such famous magazines as Elle, Glamour, and Shape.
Emma Heming was born on June 18, 1978 in Malta, England. Her mother was originally from British Guyana in South America, but her father was an England native. Though born in Malta, Emma was raised in both London and, later, California. Due to her stunning good looks, she had already begun modeling by the time she was just 15 years old. In 1991, she won The Big Breakfast's "Find Me a Supermodel" competition, which was sponsored by the Lorraine Ashton model agency. It was through this competition that she really got her face out there, leading to huge opportunities to come.
Since her early days as a budding model, Emma has made a big name for herself in the profession, often referred to as one of the world's top fashion models. Along with being the former spokesmodel for Canadian lingerie retailer, La Senza, she has also posed for numerous ads for brands such as Dior Gap, and John Frieda, as well as appeared on the covers of Elle, Glamour, and W. In 2005, she was also named #86 on Maxim's "Hot 100" list, and appeared as one of the runway models in The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2001.
Since marrying actor Bruce Willis on March 21, 2009, Emma has begun to focus a bit more on her acting than modeling, having appeared in films such as "RED 2" and "Bruce Willis: Why the Legend Never Dies." Of course, she had also played roles in "Perfect Stranger" and "The Comebacks" prior to this in 2007. While her new career as an actress is starting to build steam, since she's also given birth to two daughters, she keeps plenty busy being a mom, too.
