Born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Tucson, Brook Lisa Burke Charvet aka Brooke Burke is a an actress, model and TV personality.
Brooke is the oldest of nine children. Raised Jewish, she attended Sahuaro High School and Palo Verde High School in Tucson, where she was crowned homecoming queen in 1989. She is a mix of Irish, French, Portuguese and Jewish ancestry.
Brooke Burke burst onto the scene in 1999 when she hosted Wild On! on the E! Network. She later hosted The Weakest Link, the CBS reality show Rock Star and was a contestant on the 7th season of Dancing with the Stars, eventually winning. Brooke became the host of the program in its 10th season.
Her other hosting gigs include Shes Got the Look, and the 2011 Miss America Pageant. Her television commercial appearances include Discover Card, M Professional Cosmetics and Coca-Cola, among others.

Brooke Burke was married to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher and they have two daughters, Neriah and Sierra. Brookes second marriage to actor David Charvet produced a daughter, Rain, and a son, Shaya.
Brooke has admitted to getting breast enhancements and Botox. "If I wasnt on TV, I probably wouldnt. Fillers at a minimal level are okay, but it scares me because I dont want to have that bloated look. In our industry, people do too much too soon or just too much. She added, "I was hosting the Miss America pageant, and I was having a great time. Then it hit me: I could be any of these girls mothers! Thats when I realized Im freaking 40. It was weird. She prefaced this with: Forty is better than 30. I have a better understanding of who I am, what makes me tick, whats okay and not okay. Ive had such a great experience professionally in the last 3 or 4 years that it really opened my eyes to not procrastinating."
In 2012, Brooke Burke revealed she was battling thyroid cancer. "Doctors say this is a good kind of cancer to have. Good cancer that sounds so crazy! But my doctor did tell me that this is a happily-ever-after kind of thing". She added, "The truth is, Im always so used to being in control and taking care of everybody and all my kids, and now I find myself in this really out-of-control situation."
