Ashley Hartman is an American model, as well as a television personality and actress. She is most famous for her 2007 Carl's Jr. ad, a recurring role as Holly Fischer on "The O.C.," as well as host of several Victoria's Secret and CMT specials.
Ashley Christina Hartman (Ashley Tenerelli) was born in Orange County, California on August 31, 1985 to Michele Knutsen and Kip Hartman. When she was just four years old, her parents split up, and she then lived with her mother and two sisters for the remainder of her childhood. While Ashley spend her elementary school days as the church cantor at St. John the Baptist in Costa Mesa, a private school, her older sister Maria Carmel focused her efforts on photography, eventually entering and winning VH1's "The Shot" fashion photography reality competition in 2007. As for Ashley, she used her singing abilities to enter the "American Idol" competition in 2003, where she placed in the top 32.
It was Ashley's experience auditioning for 'American Idol" that lead her to pursue acting/modeling as a career. Surely, she already had the looks and stage presence for such a task, and sure enough, she was snatched up by a casting director almost immediately. This lead to a six-episode stint on the first season of FOX's "The O.C.," which even recurred yet again years later for season four.
Of course, after her initial "The O.C." roles, others came a little more scarce, with her next major acting gig being in the horror film, "Abominable," in 2006. But never fear, as her winning personality soon lead to other fruitful ventures in television, namely as host of "Victoria's Secret TV" in 2008, and "The Grammy's Style Studio" from 2009 to 2010. But since then, she's primarily focused on being an attentive wife and mother, which is an entirely different full time gig all together.
