April Scott is an American television and film actress who started out as a model in her hometown of Campbell, Missouri. She is most famous for her roles as Daisy Duke in the sequel to the 2005 film "The Dukes of Hazzard," as well as the model holding case #14 during the original run of the NBC game show "Deal or Not Deal" in 2006.
While April Scott is far from a household name, that doesn't mean the model turned actress (who still does quite a bit of modeling) doesn't already have a long and fruitful career under her belt. Growing up in Campbell, Missouri, it didn't take the now gorgeous brunette long to realize that her stunning good looks were her ticket to the top. Of course, when you spend your youth winning roughly 85 beauty contests including Miss Soybean, Miss Sunflower and Miss Missouri Peach Queen in your home state, it would be difficult not to put the pieces together.
After attending College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri to attain her theater degree, April decided it best to take her chances and make the move to Los Angles to pursue a career in acting. Although traveling alone with minimal fund and experience, it didn't take her long to make a name for herself in the City of Angels, largely due to her talent agent persuading her to continue modeling as well as acting. Aprils career as a model holds numerous accolades, including appearances on the covers of such famous magazines as Maxim, People, and Fitness RX.
As for April's acting career, while she's never starred in a film that could be considered a breakout hit, she did take over the role of Daisy Duke from actress Jessica Simpson in the followup to 2005's "The Dukes of Hazzard," which was titled "The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning." Along with this, she has made several TV guest appearances on series such as "CSI: Miami," "Entourage," and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," as well as filled the role as a case model on NBC's "Deal or No Deal."
