Andrea Anders is an actress probably best known for her roles on the sitcoms “Joey” and “Better Off Ted.” Most recently, she will join the cast of “Modern Family.” She is also known for dating her former co-star, “Friends” actor Matt LeBlanc.

She attended the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and then in 2001, she earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Rutgers University. After she graduated, she moved to New York to pursue a career as an actress, where she earned a lot of experience working in theatre. After two years, she moved to Los Angeles where she appeared in a few pilots before landing her breakout role on the NBC sitcom “Joey.”
Andrea Anders has also appeared in “Necessary Roughness,” “Mr. Sunshine” and a variety of other projects. As for her TV career, she said, “I absolutely love it. And I’m ridiculously fortunate to get a chance to experience the sitcom world. The schedule is extremely easy, and you get fed as an artist because you’re not only working on the project, but you get to work with cameras and you get the audience there.”
As for comedy versus drama, Andrea Anders said, “For some reason, comedy just comes easily to me, and I feel like I can do it. I don’t have any doubt. When I work on drama, there’s always a sense of ‘Did I find this person’s truth at the bottom of this?’ And it’s hard to tell sometimes.”
Andrea Anders currently resides in Los Angeles and she is in a relationship with Matt LeBlanc.
