She described herself as a huge dork. “I have a bumper sticker that says ‘So Jedi.’ Composure comes and goes with me.”
Though she stopped skating after years of competition and performing in ice shows, she credits skating with helping her prepare for acting: “I became more independent, more disciplined and better able to cope with pressure. I learned to detach myself from work, so I don’t carry it around with me.”
In 2007, Analeigh graduated from high school and moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career in writing. In 2008, she began studying film at Marymount College in Palos Verdes, California.
While on “America’s Next Top Model,” Analeigh Tipton said she encountered sex traffickers posing as modeling agents. She shared she was once sold to a Saudi prince but was able to get out of the situation before the deal was finalized.
As for modeling, she said, “The life of a working model in L.A. kind of sucks. I was doing a lot of Internet T-shirt modeling.” She added in a separate interview, “It was just not for me. I live in my head too much and I missed writing and performing.”
Her other appearances include roles in “Hung,” “The Big Bang Theory,” and “The Green Hornet.”
Analeigh Tipton splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles.
