Amber Lancaster is an America model and actress. She is known best as a longtime model for the game show "The Price is Right," as well as playing Jenny Swanson on "The Hard Times of RJ Berger."
Amber Leigh Lancaster was born in the town of Tacoma, Washington on September 19, 1980. An only child, she began dancing from the age of 6 years old, and went on to organize local "talent shows" for her neighborhood, even occasionally taking her act on the road to nearby retirement homes. Her love of hamming it up in front of a crowd did not go unnoticed, and soon enough, her family allowed her to begin participating in local beauty pageants. Around the time she was finishing up at Franklin Pierce High School, she even wound up being crowned Miss Washington Teen USA in 1998.
Of course, when someone is simply born to entertain, they don't sit around too long after becoming an adult to do so. As such, Amber eventually auditioned with and was accepted to the Sea Gals, the Seattle Seahawks' dancing squad. After 5 years dancing for the team, however, she decided it was time to make the next step to becoming an actress and moved to Los Angeles.
Amber first gained exposure on television by becoming a contestant on the ABC reality series "Are You Hot? The Search for America's Sexiest People." Regardless of the show not lasting long, it was obvious that Amber was indeed hot, as she began booking modeling gigs for magazines like US Weekly, People Stylewatch, Life & Style, and Star. She even wound up making the Maxim "Hot 100" list at one point. As her time in LA accumulated, so did her opportunities. Along with guest appearances on series such as "Entourage" and "Community," she even landed her first series regular role on "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" in 2010. Coupling this with her long-running job as a model on "The Price is Right" since 2008, it was clear that Hollywood had certainly found a way to utilize her many talents.
