Raised in London, England and New York City, Alice Eve is the oldest of three children born to veteran actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan and studied English at St. Catherine's College, Oxford. There she acted in student productions of "An Ideal Husband," "Scenes From an Execution" and "The Colour of Justice."
On her professional approach to acting, Eve told SheKnows.com "I became a career woman [after college], when my colleagues and peers were doing it, whether they were going off to do journalism in the city, or whatever it was. So I would recommend university to any young person. It's the most important thing in the world. I don't think I'd be anything without my education, really. Maybe funny, occasionally, but that's all."
Her first movie role came in the 2004 BBC production of Stage Beauty. American audiences will remember her mostly though for her role in She's Out of My League (2010), Men in Black 3 (2012) and as Vincent Chase's love interest in the final season of HBO's Entourage.
After making the transition to movies Eve still managed to perform in two plays in Britain by Trevor Nun, the Tom Stoppard directed Rock 'n' Roll and Cyrano De Bergerac in 2006.

After her exposure from She's Out of My League Eve was named number 50 on the Maxim Hot 100 in 2010. Her next major project will be a character in J.J. Abram's Star Trek Sequel, which is so secretive that she can't even discuss what the character's name is. "I want to keep her safe," Eve says, "I want to tell you everything about her, but I can't tell you anything. I can't tell you anything other than that she's great!"
