This Forza Horizon 2 Time Lapse Shows Amazing Day/Night Cycle and Weather

Forza Horizon 2 is absolutely packed to the brim with content. You have hundreds of events, 210 cars, seven radio stations, secret locations, social features, and my personal favorites, the day/night cycle and weather.

User TheDrivingConcept on YouTube has uploaded a video of himself parked in Castalletto, one of Forza Horizon 2‘s six main hubs, in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. The video shows three full days jammed into less than five minutes of video, demonstrating the game’s day/night cycle and weather. Remember, this game runs at 1080p at a stable 30 FPS. What Playground Games has accomplished here is extraordinary.

While watching the video above, be sure to pay particular attention to how the city illuminates at night, as well as how the clouds move. After playing a review copy for over 12 hours, I am still in awe at how organic the game world feels.

The video was captured using the Xbox One’s demo, which is available right now for free. If you plan to get the Xbox 360 version, you can expect a decrease in overall visual quality, but the features remain.
