Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival Announces Galas With Howie Mandel, David Cross

The annual Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, which runs in July, has started releasing its line-up of star-studded gala events, and they include evenings with homegrown talent like Howie Mandel as well as David Cross.

Cross, who will take to the stage on July 27th, is an Emmy Award winner and Grammy Award nominee. He recently made his comeback to stand-up comedy after his six-year hiatus with his tour Making America Great Again, which he performed this past winter at JFL NorthWest in Vancouver. Cross’ popular sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David was re-launched as With Bob and David on Netflix this past fall and IFC recently announced a third season of Todd Margaret which Cross stars in and created.

Meanwhile, Mandel, whose special Just For Laughs starring Howie Mandel was filmed for The CW network at last summer’s Festival in Montreal, has been renewed for this summer. Mandel will be the host of the second edition of this highly anticipated all-star multi-comic gala.

The Just For Laughs Festival runs this year from July 13-31.
