Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell & Quentin Tarantino Coming To Australia For ‘The Hateful Eight’ Premiers

Film megastars Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell are set to join director extraordinaire Quentin Tarantino at the Australian premiers of Tarantino’s new film The Hateful Eight in Sydney and Melbourne this coming January.

Tarantino and his pals will be walking the red carpet at Sydney’s Event Cinemas George Street for The Hateful Eight‘s Aussie premier on Wednesday, 13th January, before the film is shown in that sweet sweet 70mm format.

Aside from the premier, Jackson, Russell and Tarantino will all be taking part in a special Q&A screening of the film (again in 70mm) at Cremorne Orpheum on 14th January, before heading to Melbourne for another Q&A screening at Village Cinemas Rivoli on Sunday, 17th January. Jackson is yet to be confirmed for the Melbourne leg, but hopefully he’ll give fans the all-clear soon enough.

The Hateful Eight, the story of bounty hunters trying (and struggling) to find shelter during a blizzard, is set to screen in 70mm for a one-week exclusive season from 14th January, at select cinemas. The film will see a wide digital release on 21st January.

Aside from legends like Jackson and Russell, The Heightful Eight also stars the likes of Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Demian Bichir, Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern. Catch the film’s official trailer, below.

Tickets for the film’s Aussie Q&A sessions go on sale Thursday, 10th December.
