Oz Comic-Con Announces First Brisbane & Sydney Guests & Dates For 2015

After a sold-out show in Melbourne last month, pop culture expo Oz Comic-Con has announced its return to Brisbane and Sydney this September, and has named some of the stars who’ll be appearing in those cities.

Oz Comic-Con made its inaugural Sydney and Brisbane visits in 2014, and will this year make its way to the Brisbane Convention Convention And Exhibition Centre on 18th and 20th September, and the Sydney Exhibition Centre on 26th and 27th September.

As far as guests are concerned, the lineup already includes Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver, Stargate SG-1), Tim Rose (Star Wars’ Admiral Ackbar), Daniel Portman (Game of Thrones’ Podrick Payne), Dante Basco (Hook), Mike McFarland (Dragon Ball-Z) and Christopher Heyerdahl (Sanctuary, Stargate Atlantis). More guests will be announced in the coming weeks.

What’s more, Oz Comic-Con Brisbane and Sydney will be playing host to their respective state finals of the Australian Championships of Cosplay, with Sydney also set to host the national finals. Both kids and adult cosplay parades will also run at both shows, so that everyone can showcase their creations.

For the kids, there will also be a Family Activity Room providing a break from the main show, and the Berocca Boost Gaming Zone, where young and old experienced gamers can show off their skills.
