Air is an upcoming sci-fi movie about a bleak future where humanity has run out of the titular substance, and a pair of engineers (Djimon Hounsou and Norman Reedus) who have to protect humanity’s last chance for survival. The film was written and directed by veteran video game writer Christian Cantamessa. The trailer for Air was just unleashed on Comic-Con, and now we will all watch it.
These are the best kinds of trailers to come out of Comic-Con. Sure, it’s exciting to see new footage from upcoming blockbusters, and new angles on Batman’s Bat-armor, but these less-advertised movies seem to make a proper debut, getting national exposure all at once. So let’s savor this moment as we see, many of us for the first time, footage from the movie Air.
