Photographer Bob Gruen Opening Toronto Exhibit
Bob Gruen is one of the most well-known and respected photographers in rock and roll, and he is bringing a new exhibit of rockstar photography to the LISS Museum in Toronto.
From Led Zeppelin to the Rolling Stones, Elvis to James Brown, Bob Dylan to Bob Marley, and John Lennon, Gruen has captured the music scene for over 40 years, gaining worldwide recognition for his exceptional work – in fact, in the early 1970s, Lennon and Yoko Ono hired him as their personal photographer (and that’s where the legendary image of Lennon standing in front of the Statue of Liberty making the peace sign came from). He also shot the photo of Lennon wearing a cut-off sleeveless NY shirt. “
