See ‘Galaxy Quest’ in 35mm on Friday, November 21st

Fans of the 1999 sci-fi comedy classic Galaxy Quest have never given up, and they have never surrendered. So CraveOnline and The B-Movies Podcast are rewarding their loyalty with a 15th Anniversary screening of Galaxy Quest at the historic Nuart Theatre in Los Angeles this Friday, November 21st.

If you wanna go to the midnight show, you can buy tickets right now. B-Movies Podcast hosts William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold will be introducing the 35mm print of Galaxy Quest, talking to fans and handing out some ridiculously sweet prizes to lucky winners in the crowd.

Directed by Dean Parisot, Galaxy Quest stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Sam Rockwell, Tony Shalhoub and Daryl Mitchell as the cast of a long-since cancelled sci-fi TV series. When a group of aliens confuses “Galaxy Quest” for historical documents, they come to Earth seeking the cast’s aid in their ongoing fight against the intergalactic warlord Sarris, played by the late Robin Sachs.

In the 15 years since its initial release, Galaxy Quest– co-starring Enrico Colantoni (“Veronica Mars”), Missi Pyle (Gone Girl) and Justin Long (Tusk) in his feature film debut – has emerged as a modern comedy classic, and is now considered by many to be one of the best Star Trek movies ever made… even though it’s technically just a satire. It’s a loving homage to sci-fi stars and lifelong fan persons that also works damn near perfectly as the thinking it’s making fun of. It’s got action, humor, unforgettable characters and – of course – the chompers.

So come on down to the Nuart Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, November 21st for Galaxy Quest, presented by CraveOnline and The B-Movies Podcast! Meet the hosts of your favorite podcast and watch a great film in glorious 35mm. Tickets are available now. By Grabthar’s Hammer… what an event!
