Telluride Film Festival 2014: See the Full Lineup of Films

The illustrious Telluride Film Festival kicks off tomorrow, and has long been expected to fire the opening salvo for the upcoming awards season. Sure enough, the complete Telluride lineup has just been released and it’s a cavalcade of exciting talent and U.S. premieres, many of which have been building Oscar buzz for months.

The Telluride lineup this year includes Martin Scorsese and David Tedeschi’s The 50 Year Argument (a new documentary about the New York Review of Books), Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman (about a washed up former movie superhero played by former Batman star Michael Keaton), Tommy Lee Jones’s The Homesman (a western about a claim jumper escorted three insane women across the plains), The Look of Silence (Joshua Oppenheimer’s sequel to the Oscar-nominated documentary The Act of Killing), Mike Leigh’s Mr. Turner (the Cannes award-winning drama about British painter J.M.W. Turner), Jon Stewart’s Rosewater (about the imprisonment of “Daily Show” guest Maziar Bahari in Iran), and Jean-Marc Valleé’s Wild (about a 1,100 mile hike, starring Reese Witherspoon as author Cheryl Strayed).

CraveOnline will be in attendance at Telluride, bringing you all the latest reviews of all the upcoming, buzzworthy pictures. Check out the complete lineup below and stick around for more coverage throughout the week.
