Comic-Con Leak Details Warner Bros.’ Plans Beyond Batman v Superman

San Diego Comic-Con International 2014 is only six weeks away, but an early leak of Warner Bros.’ planned announcements may have tipped their hand prematurely.

According to Nikki Finke, Warner Bros. Pictures is planning to announce its full slate of DC comic book inspired movies, including a few surprises in the lineup.

May 2016Batman v Superman
July 2016Shazam
Christmas 2016Sandman

If that schedule is true, Wonder Woman would finally get her own solo movie only two months after the Justice League movie hits theaters in 2017. The Flash and Green Lantern team up is also unexpected, since The CW is launching a TV version of “The Flash” this fall. Finke also notes that the Green Lantern will not be Ryan Reynolds and the role will be recast for his appearances in Justice League and even a potential appearance in Batman v Superman.

The report also states that Aquaman is being held back for the Justice League movie, while Cyborg and The Flash will cameo in Batman v Superman

Warner Bros. Pictures will likely make their Comic-Con announcements in Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center on either Friday, July 25 or Saturday, July 26.
