NFL Releases 2014 Schedule

The opening game is Thursday, September 4, and it’s quite the treat with the Seahawks hosting the Packers. Not only do we get to see Aaron Rodgers take on Russell Wilson and the defending Super Bowl champs, but we will get to revisit this beautiful disaster — the 2012 ‘Fail Mary.’

Other notable games:

Week 1: Colts @ Broncos — Peyton Manning’s former team travels to his new home at Mile-High.

Week 2: Bears @ 49ers — Two classic defensive teams at Levi’s Stadium, the Niners’ new home.

Week 5: Chiefs @ 49ers — Alex Smith returns to San Francisco for the first time.

Week 7: 49ers @ Broncos — Jim Harbaugh vs. Manning. Both teams Super Bowl contenders.

Week 8: Packers @ Saints — Rodgers vs. Brees, an epic QB showdown.

Week 9: Broncos @ Patriots — Manning-Brady Bowl back yet again.

Week 11: Patriots @ Colts — Brady takes on younger counterpart Andrew Luck in Indy.

Week 13: Thanksgiving Day — Bears @ Lions, Eagles @ Cowboys, Seahawks @ 49ers

NFL Trade Rumors posted their strength of schedule rankings based on winning percentages of all the teams last season and their current Vegas odds at winning the Super Bowl. The Oakland Raiders have the toughest ranked schedule while the Houston Texans have the easiest.
