House of Cards’ Corey Stoll Circles Ant-Man
The most pleasant surprise from the first season of Netflix' "House of Cards" is apparently joining the Marvel Universe.
Actor Corey Stoll, whose portrayal of embattled congressman Peter Russo nearly stole (and by some measures, DID steal) the political thriller's first season from star Kevin Spacey, is close to signing on to play an unspecified role in Edgar Wright's upcoming Ant-Man.
As reported by Crave film site Cinema Blend, Stoll would join Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Michael Douglas (Henry Pym) and Evangeline Lilly as confirmed cast members for Marvel's Phase Three opener.
Production on Ant-Man kicks off next week with release scheduled for July 17, 2015.
