Is This Jeff Gordon “Test Drive” Video Real?

You may remember around this time last year when Jeff Gordon paired up with Pepsi Max and delivered one of the most genius marketing campaigns in recent memory when Gordon took a car salesman for a little 'Test Drive.' The video only has 40 million views to date. You might also remember that many pointed out details in the video that pretty much declared the entire video a manufactured and rehearsed piece. It looks like Pepsi Max and Gordon might now be getting the last laugh.

Jalopnik's Travis Okulski did a great job debunking last year's video by pointing out some crucial ingenuous elements. Personally, I also thought the acting by the car salesman was sub-par. Nonetheless, this year's 'revenge' do-over is just about as good as it gets — because they pull a fast one on Okulski this time.

That's right. The guy responsible for debunking last year's video is the one being pranked this time around. And it looks 100 percent for real, authentic.

Gordon gets professionally done up to play the part of an ex-con turned cabbie — and he does a terrific job. Every reaction on Okulski's face seems to be one hundred percent genuine.

Good luck debunking this one. I'm buying it. And yes, it's worth watching the full 4:50. It only got over 1.2 million views in it's first day online.
