City Announces 2014 Mid-Season Premiere Dates

City has announced its 2014 mid-season schedule, and thrillers like “Resurrection,” starring Omar Epps (“House”), are getting major hype.

New to City’s roster of proven hits are a collection of star-studded dramas and eagerly awaited comedies. Written and produced by Aaron Zelman (“Damages,” “The Killing”) and starring Epps, this gripping new series takes place in the small town of Arcadia where residents are forever changed when their deceased loved ones suddenly start returning from the dead – as though not even a day has gone by.

Also on the line-up is the thriller “Crisis,” starring Dermot Mulroney (“My Best Friend’s Wedding”) and Gillian Anderson (“The X-Files”). Plus, from executive producer Sofia Vergara (“Modern Family”) comes the sexy Texas ranger action drama “Killer Women,” starring Canadian actor Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”).

The new comedy “Enlisted,” starring Geoff Stults (“How I Met Your Mother”), will be on the roster, along with the edgy original series “Mother Up!,” starring Eva Longoria (“Desperate Housewives”).

Rounding out the lineup are returning cult-hit comedy “Community,” hilarious series “Suburgatory,” critically acclaimed dramedy “Shameless,” and an all-new season of homegrown original comedy series “Seed.” Also, family comedy “Last Man Standing” joins the City schedule in simulcast starting January 3rd.
