‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Episode 7 Preview Scene

Last night on “The Walking Dead,” the Governor (David Morrissey) made his first full appearance of the fourth season.

But after murdering his own people, even the Governor’s two remaining soldiers, Shupert (Travis Love) and Martinez (Jose Pablo Cantillo) decided to ditch him. At his lowest point, the Governor stumbled across two sisters, Lily (Audrey Marie Anderson) and Tara (Alanna Masterson) who had managed to survive the zombie apocalypse in their apartment along with their father David (Danny Vinson) and Lily’s daughter Megan (Meyrick Murphy).

Amazingly, the Governor came to care about them as a new surrogate family, with Lily as his potential lover and Megan as a replacement for the child he lost. When David died, the Governor led Lily, Tara and Megan out into the world before they were threatened by a horde of walkers. After the Governor affirmed his love for Megan and killed three walkers with his bare hands, he came face-to-face with Martinez, the man who abandoned him.

This week’s “Walking Dead” preview scene finds the Governor as a member of Martinez’s new group of survivors. But “Brian” isn’t the Governor anymore, he’s just a follower now. Right… don’t expect that to last.

In the clip, the Governor puts up with some mockery from one of the other men as he spots something ominous in the woods.

“The Walking Dead” Season 4 continues this Sunday on AMC!
