John Noble Moves Into ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Back in January, John Noble’s five year stint as Dr. Walter Bishop on “Fringe” came to an end. However, Noble will soon be back on Fox.

Deadline is reporting that Noble has signed on to “Sleepy Hollow’ in a major recurring role as Harry Parrish, “a kind and reclusive man who possesses supernatural powers that have the potential to help the series’ protagonist, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).”

The new “Sleepy Hollow” series was co-created by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who previously co-created “Fringe” with J.J. Abrams. “Sleepy Hollow” also happens to be Fox’s biggest fall debut in 7 years, with 10.1 million viewers.

Before “Fringe,” Noble was best known for portraying Denethor in the Lord of the Rings films. Noble has also appeared in “24,” “Journeyman,” ‘Stargate SG-1,” “The Unit” and he recently lent his voice to the animated movie, Superman: Unbound.

Noble will also be returning to “The Good Wife’ this season, despite the fact that his character on that show had previously been killed off. Presumably Noble’s return on that series will be a flashback.
