Marvel’s All-New NOW: James Robinson on ‘Invaders’ & More

James Robinson surely didn’t waste any time after leaving Earth 2 and ditching DC. As part of the second wave of the Marvel NOW initiative, he’ll be helming a new series called The All-New Invaders with artist Steve Pugh. The cover features original members Captain America, Namor and possibly the original Human Torch (although it’s hard to tell in this image whether or not he’s Jim Hammond or Johnny Storm), as well as Winter Soldier, who’s been M.I.A. since his own series fell by the wayside.

This also means that Black Panther isn’t going to murder the hell out of the Sub-Mariner for killing thousands of Wakandans and siccing Thanos’ Black Order on Wakanda during Infinity. Namor better earn his way out of that at some point. Either way, Robinson handling the team held over from World War II is very promising.

Also on the docket for the “All-New NOW” is Matt Fraction’s Inhuman with Joe Madureira, the book for which he’s leaving the Fantastic Four and FF, which takes place after the events of Infinity, where Inhumans are popping up all over the world, and the fate of Attilan and King Black Bolt remains unknown. Then there’s also Avengers #24.NOW, which brings the Avengers back together to stop a rogue planet from hitting Earth.

Here are the covers revealed today, complete with their press release blurbs.
