Obsidian Had Planned Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a game-changing RPG for console gamers. KOTOR II was less so but still made many want another game to fly the Ebon Hawk around a galaxy far, far away.

Well, Crave’s sister site Destructoid scored an interview with Chris Avellone from Obsidian, who made KOTOR and KOTOR II, who said there were plans for a third installment but no one ever took the pitch.

The plan, apparently, was to have the exile from KOTOR II meet Revan, from KOTOR, and find the “true Sith lords.” Clearly this never happened but maybe someday someone will take the license and do something with it.
