‘Burn Notice’ Will End With Season 7

After seven seasons, time has finally run out for Michael Westen.

USA has officially announced that “Burn Notice” Season 7 will be the end of its signature action series. Next month, the final season of “Burn Notice” will open with Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) separated from his friends Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), Sam (Bruce Campbell) and Jesse (Coby Bell) after a significant amount of time has passed since the sixth season finale. But Team Westen won’t be apart for too long.

“From day one, ‘Burn Notice‘s’ characters, storylines and mythology have consistently captivated a massive audience, and this final season will raise the stakes even higher, leading up to a spectacular series finale,” noted USA co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber.

According to Deadline, “Burn Notice” creator Matt Nix is already developing a new drama for USA called “Complications, which follows “an ER doctor whose life changes after he is involved in a gang shooting, when he is forced to explore how active a doctor can be in treating the cause of his patients’ medical problems.”

Nix is also teaming with Billy Crystal on a comedy project that is being shopped around to cable networks.

“Burn Notice” Season 7 will premiere on June 6.
