Mall space is being repurposed as more department store chains close stores that have traditionally served as "anchors" at malls. The Planet Fitness now occupies the space that was previously a Sears. The glass doors behind those exercising were the bay doors for Sears Automotive. Abandoned by the big brands, deserted by the young, the American mall, once temples of the shopping, have become ghost towns, victims of the explosion of online shopping. / AFP PHOTO / Don Emmert / TO GO WITH AFP STORY by John BIERS, "Deserted, US shopping centers look for a future" (Photo credit should read DON EMMERT/AFP/Getty Images)

C’mon, Guys: Naked Man Arrested At Planet Fitness For Thinking It Was ‘Judgement Free Zone’

It was just last weekend I witnessed my own naked dude bike riding through my neighborhood. This guy was highly offended. Now I’m wondering how he would have felt visiting the Planet Fitness in Plaistow, New Hampshire last week. I’m guessing he wouldn’t have been thrilled at the “naked yoga.”

A 34-year-old man identified as Eric Stagno was arrested at the popular gym chain after stripping naked and doing yoga. Completely care-free — or oblivious — to the looks of horror surrounding him, Stagno responded by saying he thought it was a “judgement free zone” (referencing the gym’s slogan).

Police say 34-year-old Eric Stagno was walking around naked at the Plaistow gymbefore settling in on the yoga mats. Officers arrived at the Planet Fitness to find him nude on his knees in a yoga-type position.

Call me nuts (pun intended), but I’m certain the “judgement free zone” has to do with the shapes and sizes of customers’ bodies, not showing every inch of those bodies on shared equipment.

Stagno was charged with indecent exposure/lewdness and disorderly conduct. This is Stagno’s mug shot:

Stagno was released on $1,000 bail and is due in Plaistow Circuit Court come September.

Mr. Stagno, please do naked yoga in the privacy of your own home. Or simply stick with alien yoga.
