Student Brings Record Player To Class Because ‘No Phones Are Allowed’

Back when I was in school we had to hum our favorite tunes. These days kids have it pretty damn easy, right?

According to Mashable, a teacher at Hudson’s Bay High School in Vancouver, WA named Eric Saueracker told his class that they were not allowed to bring cellphones to exam day because they could be use to cheat. So students weren’t even allowed to listen to music. Well, one student found a way to get around that phone ban: he brought in a record player.

If folks out there are worried about our youth, just know that it’s teens like this that remind us there are plenty of young people out there who are still clever and creative.
