When you serve this country through the military, you’re applauded for defending America from the terrors of the world. You get a ton of credit for your work.

But if you’re banging chicks in porn films as a side gig, you might find yourself in trouble with Uncle Sam. This is the current situation for one of our Navy SEALs.

So The Face Of The Navy SEALs Is Also A Porn Actor (And So Is His Wife)

Chief Special Warfare Officer Joseph John Schmidt III is a sailor with an impeccable record of military service, but the 42-year-old for more than seven years has been moonlighting as a porn actor named “Jay Voom.” This has all of a sudden become a concern for the Navy because they apparently want to make sure he filled out the right paperwork before docking his submarine to unload seaman.

“There are very clear regulations which govern outside employment … as well as prohibitions on behavior that is discrediting to the service,” SEALs spokesperson Capt. Jason Salata said, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.

Schmidt — or maybe we’ll just call him Mr. Voom — has appeared in almost 30 adult films. And while you might not be familiar with Mr. Voom’s work, you might just now his wife’s. The sailor is married to adult film star Jewels Jade.

Prior to the government bitching about it, Jade told the newspaper that her strapping hubby had always been pretty open about his side hustle with those in charge in the Navy. In fact, she said they always knew about it.

“He got called in and they said, ‘Look, keep it on the low, don’t mention the SEAL name and blah, blah, blah,'” she said. “He was always pretty open about it with the command.”

Mr. Voom isn’t some ordinary seaman, either. The guy was apparently the face of the Navy SEAL website and has been in bunch of recruiting campaigns. Even with his 23 years of service and a citation of valor for combat overseas, it looks like the Navy isn’t fond of Mr. Voom’s onshore affairs.

There’s surely more to come of this with more news on dick deck, so stay tuned.
