Put on your best puffy shirt and urban sombrero, because the one and only Jerry Seinfeld is coming down under to say “Top of the muffin to you!”
One of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time will be heading to our shores in August of next year, to tickle our funny-bones with his signature arsenal of observational comedy gold and PG-rated LOLs.
The now 62-year-old ’90s sitcom king will be cracking up crowds in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with his legendary routine. It will be his first Aussie stand-up tour since he performed in Sydney and Melbourne back in June of 1998.
“Australia may be far in miles but I feel very close to the people because of our mutual comedy connection,” Seinfeld says. “I couldn’t be more excited about seeing everyone there again.”
Since creating one of the most successful TV shows of all time (which may or may not be about nothing), Seinfeld has been producing a web series about the off-camera lives of his celebrity pals, literally dubbed Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and touring the crap out of his home country.
