Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Coming To Australia For ‘Terminator Genisys’

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the original Terminator, is returning to Australia next month to preview the latest project in the legendary Terminator movie series, Terminator Genisys. Joining Schwarzenegger for the event in Sydney will be homegrown talent Jai Courtney, who also stars in the film.

Since launching in 1984, the Terminator franchise has become a phenomenon. Terminator Genisys sees Schwarzenegger reprise his role (but this time as the Guardian), with Courtney playing Sgt. Kyle Reese, who gets sent back to 1984 to protect the ‘Mother of the Resistance’, Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke).

Oh, and Sgt. Reese is also tasked with resetting the future of the world — no biggie.

The film also stars J. K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Matthew Smith, Courtney B. Vance, Byung-Hun Lee and Jason Clarke as John Connor.

Schwarzenegger and Courtney will appear at a preview of Terminator Genisys from 5:30pm at Event Cinemas on George Street, Sydney, on Thursday, 4th June. Fans will have the chance to see the actors walk the carpet on the night.

Terminator Genisys is released in cinemas on 1st July, 2015. View the film’s second official Terminator Genisys trailer, which reveals a surprise villain, below. If you need more of a fix, head over to the first official Terminator Genisys trailer.
