‘American Horror Story’ Haunts Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

Fans coming to Universal Studios and Universal Orlando this fall are going to have a chance to see the best monsters from the first five seasons of American Horror Story up close and personal!

Universal Resorts has announced that both of its theme parks will feature American Horror Story mazes for the annual Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood and Orlando. The AHS maze will primarily focus on three seasons: Murder House, Freak Show, and Hotel

The promo art for the AHS mazes was also released, and it features three of the series’ iconic characters: Rubberman, Twisty the Clown, and the Countess!

And of course, there’s also a trailer to go along with that announcement, but there’s no sign of our favorite AHS monster, the Infantata…at least not yet.

According to Universal, “twisted scenes from Murder House will unleash the evil spirits that possess the Harmon estate, spiraling guests through decades of the tortured dead who previously resided there. In Freak Show, guests will join a troupe of biological misfits in a sinister sideshow where they’ll be stalked by the murderous and deformed Twisty the Clown. Finally, guests will succumb to the warped desires of the Countess after checking in to the haunted Hotel Cortez, conceived from the beginning as a torture chamber for its customers.”

Other mazes at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights include Freddy vs. Jason, Halloween II, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which means four of the ’80s greatest slashers will be roaming the parks. The Exorcist and Krampus will also be represented this year with new mazes.

Universal Halloween Horror Nights will begin on September 16 in both Universal Studios and Universal Orlando.
