Most Craved Does Superhero vs. Superhero Movies

We’ve finally reached the point when audiences don’t just want their superheroes to fight villains, they want superheroes to fight each other. It’s a paradigm that comic book fans are intimately familiar with but is practically brand new at the multiplex, so this week on Most Craved we’re taking a look at this new generation of superhero movies and their ilk, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeCaptain America: Civil War and Daredevil!

But are superhero movies about good guys fighting each other all they’re cracked up to be? If the end result is inevitable – heroes fight, then team up to fight bad guys – isn’t this whole development in the genre just a whole lot of padding? What happens when hero fights hero over a philosophy, and when you start taking superhero movies that seriously, do they stop being any fun? Your hosts William Bibbiani (Crave), Silas Lesnick (Coming Soon) and Jenna Busch (Legion of Leia) are here to raise the issues, debate the geekery, and possibly fight to the death.
