Exclusive Preview | Action Comics # 50

For months, Superman has been plagued by the loss of his powers and the revelation of his secret identity to the world. Everyone knows that he’s Clark Kent, and he is far less powerful than he used to be. Nearly everything Clark had was stolen from him, even the Fortress of Solitude, all thanks to Vandal Savage!

Savage and his children  have engineered the ultimate revenge against the Man of Steel, and they’ve captured almost the entire Justice League in their plot to gain unlimited power. In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from Action Comics # 50, Savage indulges in a little monologuing as the captive Leaguers are used as conduits for Savage to tap into the comet that first made Savage into an immortal.

Meanwhile, Clark Kent has re-empowered himself with Kryptonite to restore his lost powers, but the cure may actually kill Superman long before he can stop Savage’s plan! For the double page spreads below, click on the images to see them in full size!

Here’s DC’s synopsis for Action Comics # 50:
