Adam Sandler Gives Us Part Four Of ‘The Chanukah Song’

It’s only taken 13 years but Adam Sandler has finally gifted us with an updated version of his classic The Chanukah Song which goes out to all the Jewish people feeling alienated at Christmas.

The track was originally debuted on Saturday Night Live in 1994 but was updated in 1999 and 2002 with new names, although the melody has remained unchanged.

Sandler unleashed the fourth version during a stand-up show in San Diego adding a host of new names to the song that has previously name-checked Goldie Hawn, David Lee Roth, Calvin Klein, Courtney Love and plenty more. Judd Apatow, Drake, Seth Rogan and Harry Potter get a nod in this latest version.

It may be his most impressive name drop yet, but he does tarnish the list a bit with the inclusion of former Subway ambassador Jared Fogle who was recently sentenced to 15 years in jail for possessing child pornography and paying minors to have sex with him.

“Jared from Subway: goddamit, a Jew,” Sandler sings.

“But guess who’s Jewish and can fix him? Loveline’s Dr. Drew.”

He also admits that “Shia LaBeouf is half a jew but 100 per cent nutty.”
