Statues Come Alive in The Dead Weather’s “I Feel Love” Video

With new album Dodge and Burn just three weeks away, The Dead Weather have delivered a live performance video for “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles),” to remind us of the explosive energy of their onstage presence. The track follows the promising new brooder jam “Buzzkill(er)”.

The opening track and first single off Dodge and Burn delivers a black-and-white clip in which Alison Mosshart, Jack White and friends perform their new track at Third Man Records, surrounded by statues that come to life during the raucous performance.

“I Feel Love” is the first in a series of live performance and “instrument technique discussion” videos that the band will release before the album’s arrival, with each member reportedly taking turns explaining how to play a song on the record.

The Dead Weather’s first since their 2010 LP Sea of Cowards, is available to pre-order now digitally on iTunes or physically through the Third Man Store. Digital pre-orders will receive an instant download of “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles).”

Before the inevitable tour, The Dead Weather will make their first non-Third Man Studios live appearance in five years when they visit the Late Show With Stephen Colbert on September 14th.
