Cameraman On Segway Runs Over Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt may be the fastest man alive. However, even he couldn’t evade a Chinese cameraman on a runaway segway.

Following yet another 200m world championship in Beijing Thursday, the Jamaican sprinter was greeting fans on a victory lap when cameraman Song Tao hit a railing with his segway, causing him to lose control and literally run over the fastest man in the world.

You can hear the entire stadium gasp when Bolt falls to the ground.

Tao, who works for broadcaster CCTV, has reportedly covered many sporting events before and has apologized to Bolt. The runner took it all in stride, laughing about the matter just minutes later, but did walk away with what sounds like a lesioned calf.

Bolt holds world records in the 100m and 200m and is a 10-time world champion. He also won the 100m gold Thursday.
