Grain of Salt: Straight Outta Compton Sequel Film Planned?

It’s never a feel-good news moment when your primary source is TMZ, but the internet rumor mill has hit a fever pitch following rapper Daz Dillinger’s comments to the celebrity parasite publication about a possible sequel to the Straight Outta Compton movie.

Dillinger tells TMZ that the movie, allegedly titled Dogg Pound 4 Life, will follow the rise of himself, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Kurupt, and Warren G in the mid-nineties. Casting will reportedly go in a new direction, with the actors who played Ice Cube and Snoop, and Dr. Dre and Cube being recast for Dogg Pound, with Ice Cube’s son Curtis Young in charge of casting.

Sounds pretty far-fetched, but we’re interested. Additionally, a narrative involving murderous thug mogul Suge Knight will reportedly be involved in the sequel, though the notoriously shady figure will have no involvement in the actual production.
