Kanye Takes Over As FYF Fest Headliner as Frank Ocean Cancels

Frank Ocean will no longer headline the first night of FYF Fest this weekend, organizers announced late Thursday. Just prior to the kickoff of the 2015 installment of the festival, festival reps dropped the news that the R&B crooner “decided on his own terms to cancel his appearance.”

His replacement? Kanye West.

The lineup for this year’s FYf is stunningly good, with D’Angelo and the Vanguard, FKA Twigs, Solange, Purity Ring and Run the Jewels playing among a much larger lineup of heavy-hitters.

This weekend’s FYF Fest marks the 12th year of the festival and its second year at the L.A. Memorial Sports Arena and Exposition Park. 

General admission two-day and VIP passes are still available on the festival’s website.
