Beyoncé Could Be Starring In The Next ‘Avengers’ Film

At 33, she’s already conquered the world of music so it makes sense that Beyoncé would be up for expanding her horizons and it looks like she may be doing so by taking up a role in Marvel’s next instalment of The Avengers.

A senior Disney executive reportedly told The Daily Star “We would love to have Beyoncé on board, almost certainly as a newcomer to the screen from Marvel’s existing catalogue of comic book characters.”

Two films, The Avengers: Infinity War, parts 1 and 2, are currently being planned for release in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The movies will follow this year’s hugely successful Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

There are apparently a number of potential characters lined up for Queen Bey including the alter-ego of Tabitha Smith – Boom-Boom, a teleporting super-heroine – Blink, a cat-like crime fighter – Tigra and a combat expert – Hawkeye.

If true, she would likely be starring alongside Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo who are all expected to reprise their previous roles for the films.

It would be the first time Beyoncé has dipped her toes into the acting game since 2009’s Obsessed. She’s previously also starred in Dreamgirls, The Pink Panther and the Austin Powers flick Goldmember.
