50 Cent Launches Killer Star Wars Headphones at CES 2015

SMS Audio, 50 Cent’s audio-gear company, has unveiled a badass new headphone line with a strong Star Wars flare at CES 2015.

The geek-chic line, nicknamed ‘Star Wars Street’, is the second run of Star Wars themed cans, and features four new model options: R2-D2, Tie Fighter, Darth Vader and Chewbacca (pictured above), building on last year’s choice of Stormtrooper, Rebel Alliance, Boba Fett, and Imperial. The new range arrives in perfect timing to ride the hype train on the fast-approaching Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens, the long awaited next installment for the epic sci-fi movie franchise.

50 Cent declares himself a fan of the films, but didn’t realize the depth of passion Star Wars geeks bring to the table.

“I didn’t realize how passionate the people were because the projections that we made for the first quarter for the ‘Star Wars’ projects sold in the first two days,” Jackson said.

Without a fixed price point on the current model, buyers can likely expect costs comparative to last year’s headphones cost of $179.95. However, the Star Wars Street cans will be available for a limited time only.
